ULTIMO LOOK DEL AÑO!

Es increíble como pasa el tiempo, para nosotras ha sido un año que pasó super rápido, pero trajo muchísimas cosas buenas, aprendizajes, experiencias, nuevas personas, nuevas oportunidades, viajes, mucho tiempo en familia y con amigos, comenzamos nuevos proyectos como nuestro blog, lo cual ha sido una de las mejores decisiones ever. Nos encanta mostrarles nuestro estilo personal y nuestra manera de aplicar las nuevas tendencias en la vida real. Tenemos muuuchas ideas, proyectos y nuevas secciones para Dream Village el proximo año, y esperamos contar con el apoyo de cada uno de nuestros lectores y que esta familia poco a poco siga creciendo!

El post de hoy es un poco mas largo de lo normal, esperamos que les sirva de inspiración.

Time flies! we just can't believe this year is about to finish. 2013 has been amazing for us, we learned new life lessons, we lived new experiences, we traveled to new places we had never been to, we met new people, we spent a lot of time with family and friends, and we started new projects such as our fashion blog (Which by the way, has been one of the best decissions ever). We love to share our personal style and create new different outfits almost everyday. It has been such a wonderful experience for us. So, we have a lot of new ideas, projects and new sections for next year and we hope we can still count with our readers and expand our 2.0 family a little more everyday!

This post will be longer that usual, hope you find it inspiring.

ACERCA DE LOS LOOKS// ABOUT THE LOOKS

Algo muy característico de nuestros looks para salir diariamente, es que siempre tratamos de mezclar prendas básicas con alguna que tome el protagonismo, asi como también combinar texturas y estampados. Pero eso depende mucho también de nuestro ánimo ese dia (No quiere decir tampoco que cada vez que usamos negro estamos tristes) Hay unos dias en los que solo queremos lo mas cómodo y sencillo y otros en los que pasamos varios minutos creando un outfit. Lo importante es que nunca son aburridos para nosotras.

Something that is very caracteristic about our daily looks, is that we always try to mix basics with a statement piece, just as mixing textures and prints. But, that will also depend on how we feel that day (Although it doesn't mean that everytime we wear something black, we're sad) There are some days that we just want to wear the most comfortable and simple look and some others we prefer to spend some minutes creating an outfit. The important part is to keep them fun and different.

Cuando sientan que siempre recurren a las prendas de un mismo tono o se ven atrapadas en un closet del mismo color, traten de buscar algún accesorio que las haga diferenciar del resto y con el que se sientan cómodas, todo es cuestión de ir probando y no dejarse llevar por tantas "reglas de moda".

When you feel like wearing same colors everyday or wearing the same type of outfit, try to look for a statement accessory that make you notice and you feel comfortable with, it's all about trying out and don't pay much attention to "fashion rules".

Andrea: En verdad se que los jeans son un básico y todo, pero soy el tipo de persona que solo usa jeans para ir a la universidad o algún lugar donde no pueda usar shorts, y desde que descubri los leggins, pantalones anchos y faldas largas se me ha hecho mucho mas fácil sustituir los jeans. 

En este outfit usé un leggin con una franela negra y los uní con tres piezas que me encantan! Una camisa de jean de Lauren Conrad que me gusta mucho por los pequeños corazones que tiene, un bolso super clásico (me encanta el tono bronce que lleva) y unas zapatillas de camuflaje que de verdad fue amor a primera vista el día que las encontré. Normalmente con leggins uso blusas que sean largas hasta las piernas, pero bueno, siempre hay excepciones ;)

Andrea: I know jeans are a basic, but i'm the type of person who just wear jeans to go to the university o some place where i can not wear shorts, and since i found out about leggings, wide long pants, and maxi skirts it has been a lot easier for me to replace jeans.

In this outfit i wore a legging and a black tank top and paired them with three pieces that i really like! A Lauren Conrad heart-printed denim shirt, a classic messenger bronze bag and camo flats (Which i fell in love since the first momment i saw them). I usually wear long shirts with leggings, but this was an exception.

Monica: Mi outfit considero que es super relajado (como casi todos mis looks, lo se) solo que esta vez le agregué una pieza que me encantaría usar siempre pero mi ciudad no es que lo permita mucho, por el clima ¡Una chaqueta de cuero! Si, me encantan al igual que a Andrea, pero son de esas cosas que solo usamos si estamos seguras que a donde vayamos hará frío. Es una pieza super chic!

Monica: This is a very simple outfit (Like almost all my looks, i know) the difference this time is that i added a piece of clothing that i don't wear as much as i would like to, because of the weather here in Maracaibo ¡Leather jacket! Yes, Andrea and i love this piece, but it's the type of clothes that we would wear just if we know we are going some place cold. It's a very chic item!
