Hoy decidimos compartir con ustedes un articulo del libro de LC que nos sirvió muchisimo para mezclar estampados. // Today we decided to share with you a tip we got from the Lauren conrad book that has helped us a lot to mix and play with patterns.
Ya sean cuadros y rayas, estampados florales con uno de punticos, usar dos estampados al mismo tiempo puede ser sorprendentemente chic. Solo hay algunas cosas que hay que tener en cuenta.
1. Escoge estampado que compartan un fondo de un color neutro, como marrón, negro, blaco o gris.
2. Asegúrate de que los estampados tengan algunos colores en común: Si estás mezclando una camisa de rayas azul marino con una falda de estampado floral, asegúrate de que un azul similar sea parte del estampado floral de la falda ( esto es importante si las dos piezas no comparten el mismo fondo)
3. Mezcla el tamaño de los estampados: Uno de punticos pequeñitos con unas rayas grandes, o hasta rayas sobre rayas, siempre y cuando no sean del mismo tamaño.
4. No abusar de los estampado es un punto importante, lo ideal es usar maximo dos en un mismo outfit y agregar otro elemento que sea completamente plano (como un cinturón, bolso, medias, o cardigan).

Whether it's stripes and plaids, or florals and polka-dots, wearing two patterns at once can be suprisingly chic. There are a few things to keeps in mind.
1. Choose patterns that share a neutral background, like brown, black, white or gray.
2. Make sure that the patterns have at least a few colors in common: If you're mixing a navy stripe shirt with a floral print skirt, make sure that a similar blue is part of the floral print (this is important if the two items don't share the same background).
3. Mix up the scale of the prints: a teeny-tiny polka dot with big, oversized stripes, or even stripes on stripes, so long as they're not the same size.
4. Don't go overboard: Only two pieces in one outfit should have a pattern, and there should be at least one other element ( a cardigan, tights, betl, or skirt) that's completely plain.
