Andrea posting: Casual look!

Holaaa! Les comento que una de las cosas que más me gusta de mi ciudad es que es verano la mayor parte del año! (aunque muchas veces el calor es insoportable) este clima me da la oportunidad de usar mi prenda favorita ever, SHORTS!!!

Hoy les traigo un look suuper casual que use hace unos días para salir en la tarde con mi mama, me pareció muy cómodo y fresco. Usé un crop top morado que en verdad últimamente lo he combinado con todo lo que sea a la cintura, me di cuenta que combina con muchas cosas, y decidi usar también una camisa de cuadros para darle el toque divertido, y por supuesto mi bolso favorito por ahora (que uso con casi todo) y unos zapatos comodísimos por si me tocaba caminar mucho. Y bueno les quería contar también que las que tengan cuenta en lookbook.com pueden seguirme a mí y a Moni a través de allí. Estaremos publicando varios looks muy seguido por allá.

Helloo! today i feel so blessed to live in a city with endless summer (although sometimes i can't stand the heat) this weather allows me to wear mi favorite piece of clothes ever: SHORTS!!!

Today i'm wearing a very casual look that i wore to go out with my mom in the afternoon, i thought this was a very comfy and fresh look. I wore a purple crop top paired with my favorite high waisted shorts, and i decided to wear a bluish shirt to make it different (since i don't mix purple, blue and black too often) and of course my favorite messenger bag (i use it with almost everything) and a super comfy shoes in case i had a long walking. Another thing i wanted to tell you guys is that now you can follow Moni and me in lookbook.com, we will be posting a looks very often there.

Holaa! Esta es la nueva sección del blog que postearemos algunas veces. Posts individuales con outfits característicos de cada una. Mi primer outfit es excelente para usar en esta época del año, vanguardista y comodo. Un bluson azul oscuro con unas medias pantys estampadas con pétalos de flores y unos botines marrones es la perfecta combinación para ir a cualquier lado menos a la playa jaja. Intentenlo! Eso si, tomando en cuenta sus precauciones con respecto a las texturas y los colores. Espero que les guste!

Hi there! this is Monica posting, we will be posting individual looks sometimes, with some of our favorites looks. Mi first one is perfect for this season and very comfortable. A wide dark blue blouse with a flower-printed tights, and brown booties, i thik this look is perfect for a lot of occasions but the beach haha. Try it! just keep one thing in mind, be careful when combining textures and colors. Hope you like it!

1. Esta es su forma original./ its original form.

2. Aqui la usamos con una bufanda, las mangas las cruzamos por el cuello y asi obtuvimos este resultado./ Here we use it as a scarf, we crossed the sleeves around the neck.

3. Esta opciòn es chevere y muy noventosa, la pieza en la cintura./ This is a very 90's look, the item around the waist.

4. Aqui lo unico que hicimos fue hacerle un nudo a las mangas a la medida de los hombros./ Here all we did was make a knot with the sleeves, around the shoulders.

5. Y finalmente doblamos las mangas a tal punto que quedaran super cortas, por la elasticidad de la pieza esto se nos hizo fàcil./ Finally we folded the sleeves to the shoulders, it was easy for us since the sweater is very elastic. 

Esto se puede aplicar a cualquier pieza parecida, ¡a ponerse creativas!

Bucket list: Taj Mahal

Hoy estrenamos otra sección en el blog, todos los domingos serán de bucket list! unos post sobre lugares o cosas espectaculares que definitivamente iremos agregando a nuestras  "Cosas que hacer antes de morir".

En el primer bucket list tenemos a El Taj Mahal, en India.

Bucket list is a new section (that will be posted every sunday) where we would share the amazing places we want to visit and add to our bucket list.

The 1st one is Taj Mahal, India.

El Taj Mahal es un complejo de edificios construido entre 1631 y 1654 en la ciudad de Agra, estado de Uttar Pradesh, India, a orillas del río Yamuna, por el emperador musulmán Shah Jahan de la dinastía mogola. El imponente conjunto se erigió en honor de su esposa favorita, Arjumand Bano Begum que murió en el parto de su decimocuarta hija. Se estima que su construcción necesitó el esfuerzo de unos 20.000 obreros.

El Taj Mahal es considerado el más bello ejemplo de arquitectura mogola, estilo que combina elementos de las arquitecturas islámica,1 persa,2 india e incluso turca.3 El monumento ha logrado especial notoriedad por el carácter romántico de su inspiración. Aunque el mausoleo cubierto por la cúpula de mármol blanco es la parte más conocida, el Taj Mahal es un conjunto de edificios integrados.

Actualmente es un importante destino turístico de la India. En 1983, fue reconocido por la Unesco como Patrimonio de la Humanidad. El Taj Mahal fue nombrado una de Las Nuevas Siete Maravillas del Mundo Moderno.

Definitivamente es un lugar que queremos agregar a nuestra bucket list!!

Having fun with black!

Hola a todos! en el post de hoy Moni y yo decidimos hacer unos looks donde el negro fuera el protagonista, pero que a la vez se pudieran usar en el dia. Fue muy divertido tomar estas fotos (aunque habia muchisimo calor) pero nuestra fotografa Claudita estuvo con la mejor disposición asi que salieron varias fotos divertidas. Decidimos mantener los accesorios a un nivel mínimo para crear un equilibrio entre las piezas que usamos.

En el post de hoy les estaremos mostrando como sacarle un super provecho a las faldas que son cortas adelante y largas atrás y que parezca otra pieza completamente diferente. ¡A ponerse creativos!

1. Esta es la forma original de la falda, combinada con un crop top.

1. This is the skirt in its original form, paired with a crop top.

2. Aqui lo que hicimos fue usarla de lado y subirla para que quede como un vestido, puede ser para ir a la piscina o playa.

2. Here we just rotate it and use it higher so it can look like a dress, perfect for the pool or even the beach.

3. Este es uno de los que mas nos gusta, con un short a la cintura lo que hicimos fue esconder la parte de adelante, dentro del short.

3. This is one of our favorites, using a high waisted short, we just hid the front part inside the short.

4. Este tambien es una forma de usarla para la piscina o playa, la parte de adelante (la mas corta) la subimos y metimos dentro de la misma falda, y asi logramos este vestidito.

4. This is another way to use it for the pool o the beach, we grabbed the front part (the shortest) and we put it inside the skirt, and that's how we made this dress.

5. Esta opción es perfecta si vas a un lugar donde puede que te de frio, ya que sirve como abrigo tambien, solo con una franelita abajo y listo!

En el post de hoy, decidimos agregarle bastante color a nuestros outfits ya que en nuestra ciudad es verano todo el año!, usando de una forma muy diferente el top super bello de la marca 11y11.

Look de Andrea: Para mi look de hoy decidi combinar el crop top de 11y11 (una de mis piezas favoritas!) con un short a la cintura, sandalias y un tote bag para un look casual. También me hice un peinado que creo que se volverá mi nueva obsesión, es super fácil y rápido de hacer.

Look de Monica: Este renovador look tiene un aspecto en particular, ya que el short de jean que utilizé tenia años en el closet, y la frenela solo la usaba con un jean para ir a la universidad. Asi que decidi combinarlos y darle el toque final con un collar Coroa, un pequeño messenger bag y unas sandalias, para un look casual.

Today's post is all about colorful items since in our city we have summer all year!, using the beautiful 11y11 crop top, in a totally different way.

Andrea's outfit: Today i decided to wear my 11y11 crop top with a high waisted short, flats and a tote bag for a casual look. I also made myself a braided hairdo (my new possible obsession) super easy to do!

Monica's outfit: This look has something in particular, i used to wear this short a lot, but i stop wearing it a few years ago, so now i decided to use it again with an everyday orange tshirt and a Coroa necklace, paired with flats and a messenger bag for a casual look.
